Black-Eyed Susan Day Race Schedule & Post Times At Pimlico Friday

Written By Carson Mundy | Published at May 15, 2024

Although the horse-racing world focuses mainly on Preakness Stakes odds, it's not the only race of note. The Black-Eyed Susan schedule showcases the 100th running of the 1 1/8-mile fixture for three-year-old fillies, taking center stage on Friday, May 17, punctuating the 14-race program. There are six stakes, three graded, worth $1 million in purses, the ideal opening for Saturday’s 149th Preakness Stakes (G1).

Scan our Preakness Stakes picks and Black-Eyed Susan bets before betting on either race. If you haven't signed up with FanDuel Racing, first-time customers can get up to a $500 no-sweat bet on Preakness odds! Those with an account on FanDuel Sportsbook are eligible for this FanDuel Racing offer.

The historic 100th edition of the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes highlights the Preakness Eve card. These three-year-old fillies will battle over 1-1/8 miles on a six-stakes card. Corposo is the 5-2 morning-line betting favorite for the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes odds. Next up is Recharge at 7-2 odds. Trainer Steve Asmussen owns two Preakness wins while also historically performing well leading up to Saturday's main event, but he's yet to win the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes.
