Sharps Win Thursday Night Football
Looking at the Thursday Night Football matchup between the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs, the public was big on KC to win. KC drew 91% of all wagers on the moneyline at DraftKings Sportsbook. Interestingly, the Lions saw 58% of the total money. This means the big money had an inkling that KC was vulnerable, and that proved turned out correct.
Two notable bets placed at BetMGM include the aforementioned Lions bet. A bettor wagered $155,000 on Lions QB Jared Goff Over 1.5 TDs. Detroit ended up pulling the upset, but Goff finished with just a single TD on the night.
Also at BetMGM, a Kansas City Chiefs fan placed $415,000 on Chiefs over 11.5 wins (-130) this week. The payout here would be $319,230 in profit if this winds up a winning wager.
