You can enter a range of football contests
An interesting feature we found at Circa Sportsbook was the football contests. These are season-long competitions that coincide with the NFL football season, and anyone who has a valid online sportsbook account can enter. The prizes depend on the competition, but to give you an idea, the current Survivor Pro Football Contest has a prize pool of over $18 million up for grabs.

After sending 4-5 test emails, we found the average response time to be within 1-2 hours which is on par with other online sportsbooks we’ve tested.
Payment methods
Once you have completed the Circa register process you will be able to credit your account and make a deposit. We’ve found that the accepted payment methods will vary depending on the state you are accessing the site from, but in most instances, there should be ACH Bank Transfer, Debit Card, Credit Card, Wire Transfer, Play+, and PayPal. Generally, there will be a minimum deposit limit of $10, but this again can vary depending on your state, and the chosen payment method. For example, Wire Transfers have a much higher minimum of $2,000.
Security
We tested the security of both the mobile app and desktop landing website and found industry-standard measures like SSL and HTTPS connectivity. At the time of creating these Circa reviews, there was an active SSL certificate provided by Go Daddy Secure Certificate Authority which means that all data is encrypted end-to-end. There is also all the relevant company and sportsbook information we expect like a privacy policy, terms of service, licensing information, house rules, and a dedicated responsible gambling section.
How does Circa work? Using its online sportsbook
Circa is both an online and retail sportsbook. The online sportsbook app offers pre-match and in-game betting for a range of markets, and while it does concentrate on the US pro leagues, there is some support for other global sports too. This online sportsbook is mainly about the US majors - NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and to a lesser extent, MLS. We think this is definitely the area that it excels, and fans of any of these leagues will get plenty of enjoyment from the betting markets and coverage. There is support for other global sports like tennis, golf, MMA/UFC, soccer, and motorsports, too, although not to the same degree as the US pro events.
Bet types, odds, and limits
You’ve got all the standard bets you would expect to be able to make including moneyline, line, spread, parlays, and same game parlay options. There are also futures bets on end-of-season events such as player and team awards, pre-match betting, and in-play betting for most sports. We like the team and play prop betting variety too, and we found that for the NBA, NFL, and MLB, you have a solid range of stats to bet on such as points, touchdowns, assists, and running yards.
In–play betting experience
Live betting is also available for most of the sports, and you get a decent selection of stats that you can use to follow the action and make educated bets with. Live streaming is available in some capacity, but the availability may depend on your state and any broadcasting restrictions.
Using the Circa mobile app
When creating this Circa review, we spent a long time testing the usability and accessibility of the site, to make sure that customers would be able to have an enjoyable betting experience. Overall, the mobile app works great, but it’s important to remember that there isn’t a desktop version of the online sportsbook.
There isn’t a Circa desktop sportsbook
Circa has a desktop website, but it is essentially a landing page for the mobile app and a promotional site for the physical sportsbook locations they have in different states. You can check out the venues via the site, look at the current sportsbook contests, and even make reservations for the retail betting venues.
However, you cannot use your Circa login here or access any of the online sportsbook features - this is for the mobile app only. We don’t think this should be an issue, as the app is incredibly easy to install and use. Perhaps a desktop version of the site would be something they can add as a backup at least though.
The circa app is available for iOS and Android devices
If you want to create a Circa login then you will need to download either the Android or iOS app which you can do by clicking the links or banners we have on this page. We downloaded both versions of the app and the installation process was simple - it’s exactly the same as installing a mobile game, for example.
Before using the app, we checked out the Circa ratings and reviews and this is one of the few apps that has below a 4-star rating on both the App Store and Google Play Store. We checked the reviews, and the comments were mixed - some users complained about the simplicity of the app, while others praised the customer support.
We found the Circa app reliable, and both versions had great usability. We agree that this online sportsbook perhaps doesn’t have as many betting options as some other operators, but we still had enough variety to make the bets we wanted on leagues like the NBA, NFL, and MLB. From an ease-of-use perspective, this app should be great for beginners who are getting used to how online sportsbooks work.
