Do I need a bonus or promo code for Bally Sportsbook?
At this time nothing has been announced as to whether you will need a Bally Bet promo code to sign up.
Bally Bet loyalty rewards
Whether Bally Bet Sportsbook will have a loyalty rewards program remains to be seen. We are hopeful, though.
There’s no reason online sportsbook customers shouldn’t be rewarded in the same way as casino patrons. We have our fingers crossed that Bally’s will have some type of system in place where loyal users gain benefits for how often and how much they wager at Bally Bet.
Redeeming rewards at retail locations
Since Bally’s does have a couple of casinos currently and likely will be adding retail sportsbook locations, there is at least a chance of having the ability to redeem rewards at retail locations in the future.
If something along these lines were to happen, it probably would mean that Bally Bet would tie in its rewards program to that of its casinos, thus allowing Bally Bet app users to redeem rewards at retail casino and sportsbook locations.
Is Bally Bet legal and safe?
Yes, Bally Bet is both legal and safe. At the present time Bally Bet is operational in both Colorado and Iowa. The next state likely to launch is New York, which could happen as soon as very late 2021 or very early 2022.
Bally Bet app review
Since the Bally Bet Sportsbook app has not been released yet, we are unable to provide a review at this time.
As soon as we get a chance to try it out, we will let you know all about it. From how fast the app is on iOS and Android devices, to its overall performance, how it works for live betting, what the bet slip is like and of course what banking options are available.
Bally Bet browser review
Just like with the Bally Bet app, we’re not able to give you a review of the Bally Bet website since it is not yet operational.
One thing that we are optimistic of seeing is a website and app that work well together. Meaning that there’s a seamless transition between using the app and the website. We realize that many users transition between using their phone or tablet and their desktop or laptop. So, ideally, both the Bally Bet website and app would be mirror images of each other.
Bally sports betting overall user experience
In order for users to have a good experience using a sports betting app, it needs to be easy to navigate and fast. The last thing we want to see is a slow app or website that keeps us from placing our bets before odds change or that prevents live betting from being possible.
Since Bally Bet is going to be able to create its sportsbook app in-house, thanks to acquiring Bet.Works, we have high hopes for the finished product and can’t wait to check it out.
Bally Bet Sportsbook: Creating a new account
If Bally Bet is anything like most online sportsbooks, creating a new account should take only a couple of minutes, and you’ll be able to do it from your computer or mobile device.
You will need to give Bally Bet your first and last name, home and email addresses, phone number, date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number. You also will need to create a password and provide answers to one or two security questions.
Also, if Bally Bet does have a promo code or bonus code, this is most likely when you will need to enter it. So make sure you check this page out again when Bally’s has announced its welcome offer to see if you need a code.
One more step for Illinois bettors
For bettors in Illinois, you will need to finish your Bally Bet sign-up in person thanks to the betting laws in the Prairie State. Once Bally’s launches in Illinois, it will either open a retail sportsbook location or announce where you must go in order to complete your registration. Once we know where that is we will be sure to let you know.
How does Bally Bet benefit casual bettors?
One of the ways that Bally Bet Sportsbook can appeal to the casual bettor is to make sure it has promotions that don’t require huge sums of money to partake in.
Some sportsbooks we’ve seen have great promos, but many of them require bets of $50 to $100. While bets of that size are normal to some bettors, it is more than a lot of casual bettors would dream of risking.
We would like to see Bally Bet follow the lead of other sites like FanDuel and DraftKings and have promotions where even if you’re wagering in the $1 to $10 range, you still are able to benefit from the promos.
How does Bally Bet benefit experienced bettors?
In almost the exact opposite of the previous section, for Bally Bet to appeal to experienced bettors, we hope it has promos and/or rewards in which players who are betting more money or just placing many more bets receive rewards in line with how they are gambling.
One of the best examples we can think of is DraftKings’ daily fantasy sports app. You earn DraftKings Crowns based on how much and how often you enter contests. The more crowns you earn, the higher tier you reach each month. And then each day of the month you are able to claim rewards based on the tier you reach. Thus your rewards are more in line with the type of player you are.
If Bally’s follows a similar model, we believe that experienced bettors out there definitely would see the benefit in it for them.
New Customers: Bet $5+ Get $300 in Bonus Bets Instantly Bally sports betting options
The bet types available at most major sportsbooks across the country are usually quite similar. At Bally Bet, you’ll be able to place moneyline, spread and over/under bets. Bally’s without a doubt will also have prop bets, parlays, round robins, teasers, futures and live betting.
The real question is whether it will have any unique wagering options that you see at other sportsbooks. For example, PointsBet has PointsBetting, where your wins and losses are multiplied based on how right or wrong your wagers are. While at other sportsbooks like FanDuel, you are able to engage in single-game parlays, which some books don’t allow.
It would be nice if Bally Bet had something along these lines because it would help separate it from the crowded sports betting landscape.
What’s not available at Bally Bet
We don’t know if there will be any specific types of bets not allowed at Bally Bet Sportsbook as a whole, but we can tell you about various forms of betting that will not be allowed in some of the states where Bally Bet could launch. Here’s a look at some of the wagering options that aren’t allowed in specific states:
- Colorado: College prop betting, esports and high school sports wagering are all prohibited.
- Illinois: You can’t bet on college teams from Illinois or on non-sports events, such as the Oscars or presidential elections.
- Indiana: No wagering on esports or on amateur players who are under the age of 18.
- Iowa: No prop bets on in-state college players and no live betting on games involving Iowa schools.
- Kansas: Final rules and regulations are still being drawn up.
- New Hampshire: Betting is not allowed on New Hampshire-based college teams or on NCAA events that take place in the state.
- New Jersey: No betting on in-state college teams or on any college events that are held in New Jersey.
- New York: No major betting restrictions in place at this time.
- Pennsylvania: Betting on amateur drafts, such as the NFL draft, is illegal, as is wagering on esports.
- Tennessee: Live prop bets and prop bets on individual college athletes are prohibited.
- West Virginia: Wagering is prohibited on any contests in which players younger than 18 are playing.
Bally Bet odds boost
Bally’s most likely will have odds boosts of some sort available on a daily basis.
One thing we believe is important when partaking in daily odds boosts is not to get sucked into increased odds unless you felt good about that particular wager before the odds boost. Just because the odds are better doesn’t make the event any more or less likely to happen.
You easily can end up losing a lot of money just throwing cash at odds boosts, waiting for one of them to hit.
Bally Bet pricing
One of the biggest areas to watch when Bally Bet debuts will be the odds it offers.
Welcome bonuses and ongoing promotions are great, but if the odds at Bally’s aren’t among the best in the business, it will be difficult to view it as being among the top sportsbooks out there.
The difference between a moneyline of +115 and +120 might not seem like a lot, but it adds up over time. And even more so when it comes to parlay bets.
When you start putting multiple props and/or moneyline bets into a parlay, a few extra points here and there ends up adding up to a lot. And after a year or more of betting, those points can turn into hundreds and thousands of dollars.
Banking options
Another area that Bally’s online sportsbook will need to excel in is the number of options users have when they deposit and withdraw money at Bally’s.
The more options the better, especially when it comes to being able to do so remotely. While some people will have no qualms about depositing in person at retail sportsbook locations, we know most bettors would prefer to handle all their transactions online.
And that is especially true when it comes to collecting winnings from Bally’s. If you hit a big bet, the last thing you want to do is have to wait two weeks for a check to come in the mail.
How to contact customer support
Just like most things at Bally Bet right now, there are no exact plans as to how you will be able to contact customer service.
The more ways in which you can do so the better, and we also hope that some form of the Bally Bet customer service department is open 24/7/365. There are sports going on pretty much all the time all over the world, so having a help desk that is able to help around the clock is important at any online sportsbook.
We also hope that you will be able to reach Bally’s via phone, text, chat and email, allowing users the ability to use whatever method they prefer.
History of Bally Bet
Bally Bet was born out of multiple partnerships and a rebrand, all of which took place in the second half of 2020.
First Twin Rivers was rebranded as Bally’s following Twin Rivers acquiring the name and the Atlantic City casino property owned by Bally’s.
Then came the announcement that Bet.Works had been acquired by Bally’s Corp. for $125 million. Bet.Works is a sports betting platform supplier, and this deal made it clear that Bally’s was going to focus on sports betting and online gambling.
Next was the deal between Bally’s and Sinclair Broadcast Group in which 21 Fox Sports RSNs would be renamed Bally’s Sports.
Starting in 2021 Bally Bet Sportsbook began launching and is currently live in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Indiana, New York and Virginia.
