Bucs vs. Commanders best bets

Jayden Daniels will make his playoff debut versus the same team that he made his NFL debut against back in Week 1. Todd Bowles dialed up some creative pressures to fluster Daniels in a 37-20 win in that first meeting, but his defense has been diminished by injuries, and Daniels is playing at a much higher level at this point.

Both of these teams slow-played their Week 18 games before pulling out late wins to ensure their playoff seeding. Look for the Bucs to avoid another slow start at home and score over 13.5 points in the first half (-120 at BetMGM) or cover a three-point halftime spread. Only Detroit averaged more points per game in the first half than Tampa Bay (14.8) this season, and Washington allowed 14.7 points per game in the first half over its last three games.

If you’re looking for a player prop to target with your welcome bet at MGM, consider taking Bucky Irving to top 17.5 rush attempts at favorable +100 odds. The rookie has supplanted Rachaad White as Tampa’s lead back with 96.8 rushing yards at 5.5 yards per carry over his last four outings, averaging 19.5 carries in Tampa’s last two close division games. Washington’s defense is allowing 4.9 yards per carry on the road, and home teams are running on 49.1% of offensive plays against that defense.
