bet365 To Launch In Arizona After Gaining Sportsbook License

The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) began the process of issuing the final three mobile sportsbook licenses to operators. Bet365 has been announced as one of the final three operators to gain market access in Arizona. With this, the bet365 Arizona mobile app will be able to launch in the near future. There are now two licenses remaining for operators.

The application window for the Arizona sports betting began on Aug. 1 and ran through Aug. 15. The applications were posted from July 14 as well as a webinar on July 17 to give operators more information. Thus far the ADG has granted only one license, but locals can expect more license announcements in the coming days.

Meanwhile, bet365 has yet to announce a launch date or launch window. It is possible the popular sportsbook will aim to launch early in the NFL season. The potential revenue from NFL betting will be hard to pass up for an incoming operator. Locals can also expect the launching of the remaining two operators within that window for this same reason.

This will also mark the fifth market to see bet365 live. The popular sportsbook is a major UK-based operation that has slowly been expanding its U.S. presence. While bet365 will be entering a crowded and established market, it is sure to shake up the ranking while giving locals more betting options.

Bet365 gains market access through its partnership with the Ak-Chin Indian tribe. Initially, Ak-Chin was partnered with Fubo Sportsbook. However, Fubo ended its sports betting operation last year.
