Ravens Anytime Touchdown Scorer Strategy
The Ravens are home favorites, and the game carries a -point over/under. Implied team totals make the expected final score: Ravens 25, Bengals 21. That means we should expect three touchdowns from the Ravens.
It’s anyone’s guess how the Ravens RB situation is going to shake out going forward, in the near term and longer. Obviously, rookie Keaton Mitchell has burst out with some massive highlights. However, he’s still getting a minimal share of the carries, playing fewer snaps than Gus Edwards and Justice Hill in Week 10. Therefore, that’s a situation where I’d look to play a longer shot or stay away. Instead, I’m looking elsewhere for these picks.
Ravens ATTD Scorer Bets
Will Ravens TE Mark Andrews score a touchdown? ()
Cincinnati has been a bit stronger against the pass than the run this year, surprisingly. However, they’ve had a devil of a time limiting opposing tight ends, who have accumulated a top-three rate of fantasy points per game against them.
And not only is Mark Andrews one of the best, he’s one of the most heavily targeted. That’s especially true in the red zone, where Andrews doesn’t just get the biggest slice of the pie. He eats the pie and offers to run to the store to get a new one for everyone else who missed out. Andrews’ six touchdown catches are more than the rest of the team combined.
Yet, Andrews isn’t very far ahead of Zay Flowers in the market pricing.
Andrews is by far the likeliest Raven to snag a score, but since the pricing doesn’t reflect that, there’s still a bit of potential value despite his status as a favorite.
Will Ravens QB Lamar Jackson score a touchdown? ()
Jackson hasn’t done a ton with his legs against the Bengals in his career, running in two scores across eight full games. However, several of his early matchups against Cincinnati were blowout wins, so perhaps this one plays out a little differently.
Given the uncertainty around the RB usage, Jackson is the only runner we can be sure will have the ball in his hands in the red zone. Despite that, he’s priced decently behind Edwards. In terms of red-zone rushing attempts, Jackson’s 13 isn’t too far behind the 18 posted by the top two backs, though. And he’s converting at a strong rate, spiking five times.
I also like that the Bengals play an above-average level of man coverage, which should give Jackson a few running lanes without many eyes on the QB. Heading into Week 10, the Bengals ranked 11th in man rate, per PFF. At that point, it would just come down to beating the spy to cash Jackson’s TNF anytime touchdown prop.
Best of luck with your TNF anytime touchdown bets.
