Purdy meanwhile was the last pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and was thrust into the starting role in Week 14 after Jimmy Garoppolo was injured for San Francisco. He has yet to lose a game, and last week had 214 passing yards with no touchdowns, but more importantly no interceptions for the 49ers. Hurts will likely be the better player, but the overall 49ers’ offense is a nightmare to stop with weapons like Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel.

Hurts will just need to keep doing what he has for the Eagles this year to keep the offense moving. He’s spread the ball around well to his targets such as A.J. Mahomes meanwhile had a bit more rough of a day. He left for a portion of last week’s game but returned and played through his ankle injury to help the Chiefs win. He had 195 yards and two touchdowns in the game.
