Best NHL Prop Bets & Anytime Goal Scorer Picks Today, April 15, 2026

As the NHL regular season winds down, we’ve got a six-game slate on the ice for Wednesday night. Each of the 16 playoff positions are spoken for at this stage on the penultimate day of the regular season. In the Eastern Conference, the playoff matchups are set in stone. The Western Conference still has wiggle room as far as positioning, especially in the Pacific Division.

With this slate on the docket, there are some solid options for your NHL prop bets and anytime goal scorer picks across the league. Watch out to see if there are any late scratches as there are teams with little to play for in these games. Let’s take a look at some of the top plays to help you walk away a winner at the window.

Anytime Goal Scorer Picks Today

Mavrik Bourque, Stars Over 0.5 Goals (+350, FanDuel): This is one of those off the radar picks that we have to pivot to since it’s tough to see big stars playing in a meaningless game. Bourque had a big night against Toronto Monday night, posting a hat trick in the Stars’ 6-5 win. He snapped a seven-game goal drought in that game and with the big names getting some rest, that gives him more opportunities. Bourque has set career highs in goals (19), assists (21) and points (40) on the year. Look for him to light the lamp and make it an even 20 goals on the year.

Mika Zibanejad, Rangers Over 0.5 Goals (+200, FanDuel): Tampa Bay has nothing to play for here as their playoff position is locked.  The Rangers are going nowhere but to an offseason loaded with questions. Zibanejad has 33 goals and 76 points for the Blueshirts in this lost season. He’d like to finish the year with a little momentum. Zibanejad hasn’t scored in his last six games. With the Lightning likely sitting key guys, including starting netminder Andrei Vasilevskiy, he should have some opportunities. Take a flier on Zibanejad to light the lamp in the Rangers’ finale.

William Nylander, Maple Leafs Over 0.5 Goals (+180): Toronto has been a disappointment this season. Nylander, like several key players for Toronto, missed substantial time this season. With that said, he has produced 78 points (29 goals) in 64 games on the year. Nylander has scored in back-to-back contests and would like to hit the 30-goal plateau for the fifth straight season. He may be one of the few Leafs still trying as their season comes to an end. Nylander has 16 goals and 20 assists in 42 career games against the Sens. He’s probably Toronto’s most reliable option to score here.

Top NHL Prop Bets Today

Senators -1.5 (+136, DraftKings): Toronto is mailing in the season as they finish their regular season here. The Maple Leafs have no incentive to win this game as their first round pick conveys to Boston unless it falls in the top five. This was a similar situation to Monday but Toronto jumped in front of Dallas 3-0 after the opening period. After Dallas tied the score after two periods, the Maple Leafs jumped in front 5-3 in the third only to give up three unanswered goals to lose 6-5. Normally, the Battle of Ontario gets the blood flowing but this Maple Leafs squad is ready to pack it in. Ottawa wins this one handily to head into the postseason on a positive note.

Sharks (-120, BetMGM): Neither of these teams will make the postseason but the Sharks took large strides forward this season. San Jose is 6-3-1 in their last 10 games and has jumped 32 points in the standings entering this game. Meanwhile, Chicago comes in off a 5-1 home pasting at the hands of Buffalo Monday night. The Blackhawks are just 1-8-1 in their last 10 contests. Chicago has edged up nine points from last season but their goaltending has been weak. The Sharks look to close the year on a positive note as they play here and then Thursday night against Winnipeg to end the year.

Lightning (-130, Fanatics): New York was one of the biggest disappointments in the league this season. They are last in the Eastern Conference and face a critical offseason. Tampa Bay is locked into the second seed in the Atlantic Division regardless of the result here. It will be interesting to see if Jon Cooper goes the Rod Brind’Amour route and make late scratches of a slew of key personnel. The Lightning has quality depth and the Rangers are going nowhere at this point. New York battles but in the end, Tampa Bay comes up with the win on home ice, regardless of who suits up.
