Happy Wednesday! With four days before the NFL Conference Championships and the college football season coming to an end, the NBA and NHL now own the middle of the week until baseball season starts.

Tonight, six games decorate the slate, kicking off with an Original Six matchup between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Detroit Red Wings. The game between the Colorado Avalanche and the Anaheim Ducks clearly headlines the late-night slate. However, many of us hockey fans will tune in to see if Alex Ovechkin can bang in his 918th career goal as the Washington Capitals face the Vancouver Canucks, the worst team in hockey by a whopping 10 points.

Ovechkin reached a new milestone last game, becoming the first player in NHL history to record 7,000 career shots on goal. He has long passed Ray Bourque's previous record of 6,209 shots on frame.

He's enjoyed a relatively productive January, and we think tonight's the night he bangs in number 918.

We will continue to bet it all season long, even if the Avalanche have lost three of their last seven games in regulation after having just two regulation losses for the entire season on January 4.

MacKinnon's pace is absolutely ridiculous. As of today, he's looking at a 66-goal, 82-assist season, though we really want him to chase the elusive 70-70 club. We think he scores at least once, perhaps twice (+450) tonight.

Brock Nelson Anytime Goal Scorer (+170)

Nelson has enjoyed a red-hot January since officially making the Team USA Olympic hockey roster. In the eight games he's played in January, Nelson has contributed eight goals and three assists to the cause. Averaging a goal a game this month and facing the Ducks, it'd be ridiculous not to take advantage of a +170 price.
