This week in the NHL has been phenomenal. A record four game-tying goals in the last 15 seconds of regulation on Tuesday night, followed by three one-goal games and a stunning 3-0 Blackhawks win over the Rangers on Wednesday.
Thursday Night Football is back on tonight, as well as an insane slate of 13 NHL games, with only the Rangers, Blackhawks, Mammoth, Kings, Flames, and Kraken off tonight, having all been in action last night.
With all this hockey going on, there's a ton of value to be found on our favorite sports betting apps. Take advantage of all the latest sportsbook promos to maximize your winnings tonight.
Without further ado, here are our top NHL player props, anytime goal scorer picks, and a juicy parlay.
NHL Anytime Goal Scorer Picks
Nathan MacKinnon Anytime Goal Scorer (-110)
🏒 Odds via FanDuel 🥅
As long as Nathan MacKinnon is in the lineup, we're going to bet on him to score, regardless of the price offered. Tonight, the Colorado Avalanche face off against the struggling, extremely-injured Florida Panthers. The reigning Stanley Cup champions fought to a 4-3 win last night, scoring the winner with less than a minute remaining in the third period.
MacKinnon and Colorado could have a field day with the Panthers, who surely must be tired after such a grueling contest and having to play back-to-back games on the road. We love his +500 price to score two goals tonight.
Tage Thompson Anytime Goal Scorer (+143)
🏒 Odds via Caesars Sportsbook 🥅
The Sabres have often put in extremely disappointing performances this season, and the players have been accused time and time again of not putting in any real effort.
They did look alive against in their win over the Edmonton Oilers, a fantastic response after a dreadful 7-4 defeat to the Calgary Flames.
Tage Thompson scored a goal in each of those outings and gets to face the leakiest defense in the Vancouver Canucks tonight.
Tommy Novak Anytime Goal Scorer (+295)
🏒 Odds via Caesars Sportsbook 🥅
Tommy Novak has been earning more minutes over the past few games and is currently on a four-game point streak, scoring three times in that span.
Novak had six shots on goal last game and gets to face the Montreal Canadiens tonight in what should be a very high-scoring affair.
He's spent about 35% more time on the ice over the last two games and has been given a lot more opportunities to let fly on the Pittsburgh first line with Sidney Crosby. We're backing him to continue his run tonight.
NHL Player Props
Nathan MacKinnon 5+ Shots on Goal (+122)
🏒 Odds via FanDuel 🥅
MacKinnon is on an absolutely ridiculous streak of nine straight games with four or more shots on goal, with six or more shots on target in each of his last five games.
We can't justify paying only +220 for 6+ shots on goal, it's extremely difficult to pull off on any given night. Heck, a player of Nathan MacKinnon's stature only pulled that off five times in his first 25 games.
MacKinnon, however, is showing that he's not exactly human. He's on pace for 66 goals and 74 assists this season as the Avalanche are looking like one of the best teams in NHL history.
Martin Necas 2+ Points (+154)
🏒 Odds via Caesars Sportsbook 🥅
The Colorado Avalanche are firing on all cylinders and have an unbelievable matchup tonight against the hapless Florida Panthers, who will undoubtedly suffer in the second game of a back-to-back West Coast road trip.
Necas is on a four-game point streak, putting up multiple points in three of those four games. He's been crucial to Colorado's success, delivering an eye-watering +28 in plus/minus this year, nearly +1 per game.
Necas has only gone pointless in seven of 30 games so far this season, and we fully expect him to be involved in a big way tonight.
Nick Suzuki 2+ Points (+186)
🏒 Odds via FanDuel 🥅
Suzuki is having himself a monster campaign on both sides of the puck, and is currently the front-runner for the Selke award as the best defensive-minded forward.
On the attacking end, he's averaging over a point a game and is on pace to do so for the second straight season.
Suzuki has put up a point in eight of his last nine games, and in a potential shootout with the Penguins, he's our front-runner to put up multiple points.
