Best NHL Player Props, Parlay Picks and Anytime Goal Scorer Picks for Today Dec. 3
Written By Blaise Bourgeois | Published at December 3, 2025
Last night's action provided plenty of memorable hockey, and there are five more games tonight on the eve of the Week 14 Thursday Night Football contest between the Dallas Cowboys and the Detroit Lions.
Notably, the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions Florida Panthers took sole possession of last place in the Eastern Conference following their 4-1 loss against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Without further ado, we present our NHL best bets for December 3rd. We've got plenty of NHL player props, anytime goal scorers, and even a parlay pick for today.
Today's NHL Anytime Goal Scorer Picks
Leo Carlsson Anytime Goal Scorer (+200)
📊 Odds via FanDuel
For a player who is averaging over half a goal per game, who has found the back of the net in three of his last four games, +200 is some incredible value.
While there is some cause for concern, with Carlsson only attempting three shots on goal in his last three games combined, we know he's capable of going off at any time.
Will Smith Anytime Goal Scorer (+205)
📊 Odds via DraftKings
The San Jose Sharks have done a great job finding the back of the net lately, scoring 12 goals over their last three games. Tonight, they host the Washington Capitals, who are playing the second half of a back-to-back. Ovi and company are winners of five straight games and are tied for the best record in the Eastern Conference.
While Macklin Celebrini has taken a backseat to the scoring as of late, Will Smith has stepped up, scoring five goals in his last three games.
NHL Player Props Today
Kyle Connor 3+ Shots on Goal (-164)
📊 Odds via FanDuel
Against one of the league's leakiest defenses, we're absolutely going to tab Connor to have a great game. His shots on goal is a huge question mark, however.
We're excited to go for both sides of the argument. He's been held to only three SOG or fewer in each of the last seven games. But, it's worth noting that Connor started the season with four or more SOG in 10 of the first 18 games, including seven games of five or more.
While we're going with the safe route, it's worth sprinkling a little bit on 4+ (+158) SOG and 5+ SOG (+330). FanDuel is also currently offering +750 on 6+ SOG for all you sickos.
Mark Scheifele 1+ Points (-205)
📊 Odds via DraftKings
Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor may be one of the NHL's most underrated duos. Scheifele comes into the contest against Montreal on a four-game point streak, contributing at least a point in eight of his last nine games.
While his last multi-point game was seven games ago, we wouldn't mind getting ambitious (2+ points @ +220) against a defense that has allowed 12 goals over its last two games. Montreal are also on the second half of a back-to-back, while the Jets are fully rested.
Macklin Celebrini 1+ Assists (-125)
📊 Odds via DraftKings
This one between San Jose and Washington will truly be one of the best games of the night, and we expect to see a lot of scoring.
The 19-year-old Celebrini leads the league with 26 assists, racking up six assists over his last three games.
With Alex Ovechkin in town, Celebrini may want to pick his game up to impress one of the greatest players the game has ever known. Time to pass the torch?
Trevor Zegras 1+ Points (-155)
📊 Odds via BetMGM
Philadelphia's goal scoring has been all over the place, shared mostly by Tyson Foerster, Trevor Zegras, Owen Tippett, and Matvei Michkov, who each have eight-to-ten goals.
Against Buffalo tonight, the Flyers will look to bounce back after seeing Pittsburgh snap their three-game winning streak. We think they'll do so in a big way, and expect their leading points scorer to be heavily involved.

📊 Odds via FanDuel
- Leg 1: Anaheim Ducks ML
- Leg 2: Kyle Connor 3+ Shots on Goal
- Leg 3: Macklin Celebrini 1+ Assists
The Anaheim Ducks are heating up and host a Utah Mammoth squad that's lost four straight and eight of their last ten.
Bet $5 Get $150 in Bonus Bets If Your Bet Wins! The last time these two went head-to-head, it was an incredibly dramatic finish. Anaheim's Troy Terry tied the game with less than five seconds left in regulation, and Olen Zellweger cleaned it up in overtime to send the Ducks home as 3-2 winners.
While Vegas predicts another close game, we're not so sure.
