Draisaitl has been a huge part of that turnaround, contributing 17 goals and 20 assists this season, and has scored in three of Edmonton's last four games.

It's actually crazy that I'm sitting here in 2025 and Sidney Crosby is still leading the Penguins in scoring.
We anticipate a very high-scoring game in Pittsburgh tonight against the Ducks, who tend to take part in nothing but high-scoring affairs as of late. In fact, seven of their last eight games have seen at least seven goals scored, with five goals or more scored in each of their last 11 contests.

Sure, Nathan MacKinnon is an otherworldly animal, and is on an eight-game run with at least four shots on goal and a four-game streak with six shots on goal or more.
Don't be fooled by the on-paper matchup. The only other time these two teams played, MacKinnon was limited to just one shot on goal (which hit the back of the net) in a 3-0 victory. That was his only game of the season with one shot on frame or less.
