Without further ado, here are our top NHL player props, anytime goal scorer picks, and a juicy parlay.
NHL Anytime Goal Scorer Picks
Nathan MacKinnon Anytime Goal Scorer (-130)
🏒 Odds via FanDuel 🥅
If you're a regular reader of our site, you know the rule by now: Anytime the Colorado Avalanche are in action, we choose Colorado to beat the spread and Nathan MacKinnon to score.
In fact, we're drilling MacKinnon to score 2+ goals today (+440), as the Avs face off against the fourth-worst defense in all of hockey, the St. Louis Blues. MacKinnon has scored 32 goals and dished out 34 assists in his first 38 games of the season and is on pace to become one of the only 70/70 guys in history.
Kirill Kaprizov Anytime Goal Scorer (-102)
🏒 Odds via Caesars Sportsbook 🥅
We absolutely love the Minnesota Wild, one of the hottest teams in all of hockey, to spank the Sharks tonight. They’re 21-4-3 in the last two months and show no signs of slowing down.
Kaprizov has been extremely unfortunate over the last five games, scoring just once despite a very impressive 23 shots on goal over that span. We think he breaks his duck and gets back on the board tonight.
Matt Boldy Anytime Goal Scorer (+120)
🏒 Odds via FanDuel 🥅
Talk about coming out of nowhere. Boldy has been a 30-goal scorer since coming into the league, but is already up to 25 goals halfway through the season. We think he's very underpriced at plus-money, considering he's tied with Kaprizov with 47 points this season. Go snag him.
NHL Player Props
Nathan MacKinnon 2+ Points (-140)
🏒 Odds via FanDuel 🥅
Anybody having minus odds to tab two or more points is absolutely ridiculous, but MacKinnon is the most ridiculous player in hockey. MacKinnon has contributed two or more points in 12 of his last 16 games, including seven of his last nine. We'd be a bit shocked if he didn't register at least a pair of points against the Blues tonight.
Wyatt Johnston 1+ Points (-210)
🏒 Odds via DraftKings 🥅
Johnston has been putting in work over the last couple of weeks, with three multi-point outings in his last six games, including a three-assist night over the weekend against Chicago. Against the Sabres tonight, Johnston will have more than enough chances to successfully contribute on the attacking end.
Mikko Rantanen 2+ Points (+126)
🏒 Odds via FanDuel 🥅
Is Rantanen actually the best player on the Stars roster? He's absolutely on fire over the last six games, contributing two goals and 10 assists over that time as he begins to become the focal point of the Dallas offense.
Rantanen let off an astonishing eight shots on goal in their last game against Chicago, which was all the more incredulous after having none over his past two games. While we comfortably stay away from the shots on goal props, we absolutely love him to be a big part of the game tonight.
Today’s Best NHL Parlay (+528)
- Leg 1: Nathan MacKinnon Anytime Goal Scorer
- Leg 2: Colorado Avalanche -1.5
- Leg 3: Dallas Stars -1.5
About two weeks ago, the Stars getting -1.5 against the Sabres would have been minus-money. Now, they're getting +152 on FanDuel just because the Sabres are going through their annual run of looking like a good team for a couple of weeks. Don't buy into the hype; they're still the same old Buffalo side, and the Stars are the second-best team in hockey. This is a phenomenal price.
