Best NCAAB Bets Today: Predictions, Picks & Player Props for Nov. 11 Slate

Tonight marks the biggest night of college basketball action so far, as an incredible 16 ranked teams are in action. The latest edition of the Kentucky-Louisville rivalry headlines all the matchups. The #11 Texas Tech Red Raiders travel to take on #14 Illinois, while #19 Gonzaga hosts #23 Creighton late in the night.

The first AP poll of the 2025-26 season came out yesterday, which surprisingly saw the Houston Cougars jump over the Purdue Boilermakers, despite having half of the first-place votes and both teams taking care of business in their cupcake games.

Elsewhere, Arizona was the biggest winner, jumping from #13 to #5 after dispatching Florida, who fell from #3 to #10. Alabama moved up seven places from #15 to #8 after beating St. John's at Madison Square Garden. Rick Pitino's side fell from #5 to #13 as a result.

Michigan State's win over Arkansas saw the Spartans move up five spots to #17, while the Razorbacks dropped to #21. The lone other ranked matchup resulted in UNC moving up to #18 and Kansas dropping to #25.

As a result of all the movement and their unconvincing start to the season against Pepperdine, UCLA dropped three spots to #15, despite starting the season 2-0. Illinois moved up three spots to #14 after clobbering Florida Gulf Coast and Jackson State by 43 and 58 points, respectively.

Predictably so, no new teams entered the top 25, though NC State, San Diego State, Indiana, Oregon, and Vanderbilt are all knocking on the doorstep.

Game Lines

#11 Texas Tech +3.5 @ #14 Illinois

The Fighting Illini have been completely dominant in their first two games, with and without 7'1" Tomislav Ivišić. While the Croatian was the team's top rebounder and three-point shooter last season, Illinois managed to score an eye-watering 113 points in each game. His brother, Zvonimir, stepped up in his absence against FGCU, contributing 16 points, nine boards, and seven blocks.

The NBA Draft prospect's exclusion should be a big boost tonight for a Texas Tech side, who scored 98 points in each of their first two games of the season. We fully expect a shootout, and the Red Raiders should be able to keep it close.

#23 Creighton +12.5 @ #19 Gonzaga

While Gonzaga is a tried and true contender to win it all every year, and Creighton are without Ryan Kalkbrenner, the Bluejays appear to be a much deeper squad. Iowa starters Josh Dix and Owen Freeman have immediately become major contributors, with Freeman scoring 19 points off the bench in their season-opening win over South Dakota.

Gonzaga have one of the most efficient defenses in the country so far after wins against Oklahoma and Texas Southern. We think the Bulldogs are one of the best teams in the country, and this game should definitely hit the under (166.5).

Florida State +19.5 @ #10 Florida

The Florida Gators do not appear to be as good as advertised, committing 29 turnovers in their first two games against North Florida and Arizona. Although Florida are returning their big men who contributed to the Gators being one of the best rebounding teams in the country last season, they were outrebounded against Arizona.

The Seminoles, meanwhile, eclipsed 100 points in their season-opening wins against Alcorn State and Alabama State.

While the Gators will almost certainly get it done, Florida State shouldn't have much trouble getting buckets.

Wake Forest @ #6 Michigan -16.5

After Michigan opened as 11.5-point favorites, sharp bettors have been hammering the Wolverines, which has caused the line to jump five points.

Wake Forest dropped from 49th to 66th in the KenPom rankings over the weekend after hobbling to 14 and 16-point wins over American and Morehead State.
