Best NCAAB Bets Today: Predictions, Picks and Props for Nov. 7 Slate

The four ranked teams in action last night all won by at least 36 points as they continue to prepare for the juicy part of their season. It's what they call "cupcake season", and there will be plenty more of that tonight as 10 ranked teams take to the court.
However, a couple of big names are in action in Chapel Hill tonight as the #19 Kansas Jayhawks travel to take on the #25 North Carolina Tar Heels in a prolific non-conference matchup.

Coach Dan Hurley and national champions UConn love to slow the game down, ranking 300th in the country last season in possessions per game, despite scoring 77 points per game (71st).
UConn was a bit slow out of the gate, only up 10 against New Haven in their first-ever Division I basketball game with 15:30 left.
UMass Lowell began the season by spanking a Division III school and are ranked fourth in the America East preseason poll.
UConn, who shouldn't have any trouble breezing to victory, will likely prioritize playing a clean game after turning the ball over 12 times last game. Take the under.
#19 Kansas ML @ #25 North Carolina

A pair of blue-blood programs go toe-to-toe in Chapel Hill, with plenty of players looking to impress the numerous NBA Draft scouts in attendance.
ESPN believes Kansas freshman Darryn Peterson will be the #1 overall pick in the 2026 draft, and he looks like he's the real deal. He scored 26 points (24 in the first half), including six threes in a preseason win against #11 Louisville. Those numbers in college basketball are unheard of.
After easily putting up 21 points in 22 minutes in their season-opening win against Green Bay, we think Peterson is salivating over his first big game on the road. We think he'll be the X-factor tonight.
Oakland @ #1 Purdue - Under 155.5

This matchup pits two of last season's slowest offenses against each other, with Oakland ranking 298th and Purdue 314th.
Top-ranked Purdue goes into the season with a few lofty goals in mind: Win the Big Ten, get back to the national championship, and win it all with their experienced squad. They also hope Braden Smith can break the all-time NCAA assists record.
The Golden Grizzlies got walloped by #7 Michigan in their season opener, giving up 121 points and losing by 43. Scheduling their first three games against three of the seven best teams in the country is a bit rough, so we think their top goal will be to limit scoring tonight. Bet the under.

Georgia Tech fans have to be deeply concerned with the state of their team after having to go to overtime against Maryland Eastern Shore, a game where they were nearly 30-point favorites. The UMES scare didn't get any better, as rivals Georgia beat them 94-29 a few days later.
The Yellow Jackets might be really bad after Naithan George left for Syracuse in the offseason. They only shot 5-for-26 (19.2%) from three and 9-for-18 from the free-throw line in their opener. Going up against Bryant's big roster, tonight could be a huge problem if Mouhamed Sylla (14 points, 15 rebounds) gets neutralized.
