If he’s playing the minutes he normally does, Carter should have a strong chance to get to eight boards, even if he does match up against an elite center in Jalen Duren.

Avdija has taken on a real scoring role, and that doesn’t change just because it’s the playoffs against an elite defensive Spurs team. He’s physical, gets downhill and can generate offense even when things slow down. In a Game 1 that could get a bit gritty, Avdija’s ability to find points should show up again.
