It's Friday night, which means it's time for NBA Cup action. With 11 games tonight, bettors can enjoy plenty of action on the TVs and on their favorite sports betting apps. With all the sportsbook promotions available to new customers, our best NBA bets today can potentially make you a pretty penny.

There's so much basketball action that it can become overwhelming. We've narrowed it down and are providing you with five of the best NBA bets today.

Dallas Mavericks vs Memphis Grizzlies -4.5 (-108)

Odds via DraftKings

Ja Morant has looked fantastic while he's been on the floor, and is fresh after serving a one-game suspension earlier in the week. Tonight, the Grizzlies host the 2-6 Mavericks, who will be without Kyrie Irving, Dante Exum, and Dereck Lively II. While Anthony Davis has been upgraded to doubtful, he'll likely miss tonight and suit up against the Wizards.

The Grizzlies will have plenty of injuries of their own, but we like Morant to take advantage of Dallas' lack of star power and have a big night.

Victor Wembanyama Under 25.5 Points (-102)

Odds via FanDuel

Wemby has been stumped over the last two games, as the Suns and the Lakers have figured out ways to stop him, temporarily anyway.

Wembanyama started the season on a truly historic pace: 30.2 points, 14.6 rebounds, and 4.8 blocks per game in his first five games. Teams weren’t going to let him get away with this for long, and have started to be quicker with their double teams.

The Spurs will need time to change their game plan that saw them start the season 5-0. They're young, smart, and fast, but until they prove that they can figure it out, we have to take the unders on Wemby's stats. This is especially true against a contender like the Rockets.

Houston Rockets -3.5 @ San Antonio Spurs (-110)

Odds via Caesars Sportsbook

In the last two games that Victor Wembanyama has been stymied, they've lost. When he's been a man unleashed, the Spurs have won. It's pretty much been that simple.

Since we believe that the Rockets will be the latest Western Conference team to stump Wemby, we simply have to take them to win tonight.

Detroit Pistons -10.5 @ Brooklyn Nets (-110)

Odds via Caesars Sportsbook

It's still weird for us to see the Detroit Pistons as massive favorites after they tied the NBA record with 28 straight losses just two years ago.

They're the only team in NBA history to triple their win total season-to-season and have started this campaign with a sizzling 6-2 start. Tonight, they head to Brooklyn to take on the hapless 1-7 Nets.

The Nets, fresh off their first win against a very disappointing Pacers team, now have to take on one of the league's top stars in Cade Cunningham. The 24-year-old is averaging nearly a double-double a game (24.5 points, 9.6 assists) and looks like a player who has convinced himself that the Pistons are a contender to win the East.

Even if this game was close late, it should be Cunningham to the rescue. He's been the most clutch player in the league this season, also scoring the most 4th-quarter points in the NBA.

The Nets are clearly more interested in developing their young talent and evaluating the 2026 NBA draft class than winning this season. Don't count on them to be competitive tonight.

Golden State Warriors @ Denver Nuggets -10.5 (-105)

Odds via BetMGM

Nikola Jokic has been his dominant self again this season, and gets to play at home against the Warriors, who will be without Steph Curry (illness). Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler missed their last game against the Sacramento Kings and are questionable to play tonight.

While Will Richard, Moses Moody, and Jonathan Kuminga all had great games in their five-point loss against the Kings, the Nuggets are a completely different animal to deal with.

Curry, Green, and Butler combined for 76 points in their season-opening 137-131 overtime win over the Nuggets. We've seen shorthanded Warriors teams get absolutely blown out without their big stars, and that could easily happen tonight.
