Best NBA Bets Today: Picks and Predictions for November 9th
Written By Blaise Bourgeois | Published at November 9, 2025
While most of the country will be watching Sunday's NFL slate, there are still seven fantastic NBA games that you can put on your other screens. There's still a ton of value to be had, so there's no reason not to pay close attention to the basketball action today.
Here are five of the best NBA bets today, complete with odds and analysis so that you can make the most of your bankroll at our favorite sportsbooks, especially if you take advantage of the latest sportsbook promotions.
Oklahoma City Thunder -10.5 (-112) vs Memphis Grizzlies
📊 Odds via Caesars Sportsbook
The Grizzlies have been extremely busy, having played five games in the last week. They also have some pretty debilitating injuries in Zach Edey, Scottie Pippen Jr., Brandon Clarke, and Ty Jerome.
The Thunder look like they have all the ingredients to repeat as NBA Champions, while Ja Morant is already causing drama, having already served a one-game suspension for the 4-6 Grizzlies.
Brooklyn Nets vs New York Knicks -15.5 (-110)
📊 Odds via BetMGM
The Knicks have won 20 games by 16 or more points since the start of last year and now get a matchup against the lowly Nets at Madison Square Garden.
Cam Thomas (hamstring) and Haywood Highsmith (knee) are out, while first-round picks Nolan Traore, Ben Saraf, and Danny Wolf continue their development in the G League.
The 1-8 Nets have lost five of their games by 16 points or more, and we'll be taking some very high alternate spreads today. They probably don't have a chance to beat the Knicks at all this season, certainly not in the state that they're in now.
Up To $1500 in Bonus Bets Paid Back if your First Bet Does Not Win Indiana Pacers +12.5 (-108) vs Golden State Warriors
📊 Odds via DraftKings
While Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green are back from their injuries, they were clearly less than fully fit in Golden State's 25-point loss against the Nuggets on Friday night. Steph Curry is still questionable to play, as he continues to battle an illness.
While the Pacers have plenty of injuries of their own, historically, we never like betting Warriors lines when their stars are less than 100%. They can make easy games look difficult, and they can make difficult games look impossible.
Detroit Pistons vs Philadelphia 76ers - Over 232.5
📊 Odds via FanDuel
The Pistons and the 76ers prepare to do battle in one of the best matchups of the day. Detroit comes in as 3.5-point favorites, though we think that this game is a pure toss-up.
The Pistons have scored 116.7 points per game, while the 76ers allow 119.3 points per game, suggesting that Cade Cunningham and company are going to have no trouble putting the ball in the basket today.
The Sixers are also scoring 124 points per game, the third-highest scoring team in all of basketball. We think their offense has a matchup advantage against Detroit's fourth-ranked defense (110.8 ppg), so we're going to slam the over on this one.
Bet $5 Get $150 in Bonus Bets If Your Bet Wins! Boston Celtics vs Orlando Magic -2.5 (-120)
📊 Odds via DraftKings
These two teams meet for the second time in the last three days. The Magic handled the Celtics with ease, winning by 13, outscoring Boston by nine in the fourth quarter.
After a slow start, Orlando have now won three of their last four and are beginning to look like the team that had big ambitions before the start of the season.
Meanwhile, without Jayson Tatum and post-overhaul, Boston is nowhere near the same dominant force they were, relying heavily on Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, and Payton Pritchard.
With Boston overperforming and Orlando underperforming, we think that this is one of the best bets of the day.
