Best NBA Bets Today 03/27: Will Jokic Post a Triple-Double?
We’ve got a 10-game slate on the NBA hardwood for Friday and with less than a month to go in the regular season, playoff positioning is still in the cards, though we know the teams that will be in the field in the Western Conference. The East is pretty much locked down as one loss by the Bucks and Bulls would eliminate them from playoff contention. Teams five through 10 in the East are jockeying for position, separated by just two games in the standings.
That makes every game count even more as only the top six seeds earn guaranteed playoff spots. Let’s take a spin around the league and see what’s on tap while identifying the best NBA bets today.
NBA Schedule
- Clippers @ Pacers
- Hawks @ Celtics
- Heat @ Cavaliers
- Rockets @ Grizzlies
- Bulls @ Thunder
- Pelicans @ Raptors
- Jazz @ Nuggets
- Wizards @ Warriors
- Mavericks @ Trail Blazers
- Nets @ Lakers
There are only two matchups where both teams are currently in playoff position tonight. Both clashes come from the Eastern Conference as the soaring Hawks travel to Beantown to face the Celtics and the Heat head to the shores of Lake Erie to take on the Cavaliers. There are a slew of games that feature teams playing for ping pong balls against teams that are prepping for the postseason. With that in mind, we’ve identified our top NBA predictions for the schedule and they’re available for your perusal below.

Best NBA Bets Today – Sides
Boston -3.5 (-112) over Atlanta: Atlanta comes in having won 13 of their last 14 games but the Celtics are hot themselves, winning five of six. That included snapping Oklahoma City’s 12-game win streak Wednesday night with a 10-point triumph. Boston has won seven of the nine games that Jayson Tatum has been in action as he’s averaged 19.1 points and 9.2 rebounds per contest despite shooting 39.1% from the floor.
Jaylen Brown (calf) and Derrick White (knee) are both questionable here. The Celtics are 25-11 at home and have won 22 of their last 30 games. Atlanta battles but the mystique of TD Garden is too much to handle. Take the Celtics at home in this contest.
Houston -12.5 (-115) over Memphis: Houston has stumbled of late with four losses in six games, including blowing a 13-point lead in overtime against Minnesota in a 110-108 loss. With that said, the Rockets are trying to lock down a guaranteed playoff spot: they entered Friday with a 3.5-game lead over the Suns for the sixth seed. With that said, Memphis is just 12-22 at home this season and dealing with a slew of injury issues.
The Grizzlies are without Ja Morant (elbow), Santi Aldama (knee), Zach Edey (ankle), Ty Jerome (ankle), Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (finger), Brandon Clarke (calf), Jaylen Wells (toe) and Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe) for this one. Memphis is phoning it in at this point and the Rockets are angry. My best NBA bet today is backing the Rockets to get back in the win column.

If the games on the slate aren’t overly appealing but you still want to get money down, we’ve got you covered with our top NBA props of the day for Friday as well.
Cooper Flagg, Mavericks Under 22.5 Points (-105): Flagg has tailed off a bit in his offensive production of late as the transition to a longer season takes its toll. He has scored 21 points or less in six of his last 10 games with five of those games falling under 20 points. Three-point shooting has been an issue in that span as he is just seven of 31 (21.6%) from beyond the arc in the last 10 games.
Portland has been tough on perimeter shooting by opposing starting point guards, holding them to 29.8% shooting from three-point range. With a lack of scoring threats on the current iteration of the Mavs, my best NBA bet today in the player props department is Flagg to fall short of his number.
LeBron James, Lakers Over 6.5 Assists (-125): The Lakers square off with the lowly Nets and are giving a truckload of points in this one. Luka Doncic is questionable with a sore hamstring and this should be a prime resting spot for him here. Should he sit, that moves James back to being a primary ball handler and we know he can distribute.
James averages 6.9 assists per game on the year but has at least nine assists in three of his last four games entering this one. He should be able to find plenty of open looks for teammates, allowing hm to pile up assists and pass the number here.
Parlay of the Day
