Best March Madness Props Today for April 4: Final Four Picks
Two heavyweight Final Four matchups are on deck, and we're breaking down the best March Madness props today worth targeting. Illinois takes on Connecticut, and Arizona squares off against Michigan on Saturday, April 4. We've got March Madness picks, player props, and plenty to dig into. Let's get to it.
Best March Madness Props Today: Keaton Wagler 18+ Points
My first Final Four March Madness props target is Keaton Wagler to score 18+ points at -110 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Wagler is the most talented scorer on Illinois and dominates the ball more than anyone on the roster. He ranks in the top 50 per KenPom in offensive rating this season. Wagler logged two absolutely insanely efficient March Madness performances — a 168 offensive rating against Penn on March 19 and a 142 rating against Iowa. Those are whopping numbers.
Connecticut plays very good defense. KenPom ranks the Huskies ninth in adjusted defensive efficiency, and they're strong in effective defensive field goal percentage as well. That said, if there is a slight Achilles' heel to the UConn defense, it's that they commit a lot of fouls.
Connecticut ranks outside the top 300 in free throw attempts per field goal attempts allowed, per KenPom. Opponents score at a top-20 rate of point distribution from the foul line against the Huskies, and Wagler is no stranger to getting to the stripe.
When Wagler has attempted five or more free throws in a game this season, he's scored 18-plus points in 12 of 18 contests. Despite Connecticut's strong defense and fairly slow pace, Wagler is in a unique spot. His ability to get to the foul line against a team with major defensive fouling issues makes this a very competitive number and one of the best March Madness props today on the board.

Next, we're turning our attention to the Michigan vs. Arizona game, and one of the best March Madness props today in the Final Four. I like Yaxel Lendeborg to score 18+ points. The cream rises to the top in these big games, and Lendeborg is one of the best players in the country.
What I love about this matchup is the tempo. Michigan ranks 22nd in adjusted tempo and 14th in average offensive possession length, per KenPom. On the flip side, Arizona ranks in the top 60 in both adjusted tempo and average offensive possession length. Both teams are very good defensively, but at a minimum, this game should be played at a torrid pace.
Lendeborg has been about as consistent as it gets. Outside of a bit of a stinker in the opening round against Howard, he's posted extremely efficient performances with exceptionally high offensive ratings. Lendeborg tallied 19, 23, and 30 points, respectively, against St. Louis, Alabama, and Tennessee.
I expect him to be the focal point of the Wolverines' attack. At 6-foot-9 with the ability to run the floor, he's the perfect archetype of a player for a high-paced game where athleticism helps you score in transition. These are strong Final Four March Madness picks to close out the card. Good luck!
