Saturday is here, and while there's still a bunch of cupcake games being played, there are some phenomenal college basketball matchups in front of us. While five ranked teams play today, the biggest game of the season is upon us, as top-ranked freshman AJ Dybantsa and #7 BYU head to Storrs to face #3 UConn.

This is a great night to take advantage of sportsbook promotionsย and bettors using the best sports betting apps. With well over 70 college basketball games on the slate, there's a ton of value everywhere.

Game Lines

Ohio +31.5 @ #12 Louisville (-110)

๐Ÿ€ Odds via FanDuel๐Ÿ€

While Louisville should coast to victory in this one, the line is just set way too high for us. Sure, the Cardinals are coming off a phenomenal victory over in-state rivals Kentucky, and the Bobcats are 1-2 to start the year, college kids generally don't like 12pm tipoffs. I'd like to think that this benefits Ohio.

Princeton @ #25 Kansas -23.5 (-110)

๐Ÿ€ Odds via Caesars Sportsbook๐Ÿ€

We all remember the 2023 March Madness tournament where the 15th-seeded Tigers upset #2 Arizona and #7 Mizzou to reach the Sweet 16. While Princeton have given big teams a big scare plenty of times in the past, it's far more unlikely that it'll start happening again anytime soon.

Unfortunately, the current Princeton Tigers were blown out in their season-opener, a 35-point loss against the Akron Zips. They've since rebounded with a 10-point win against Bucknell and a 41-point win against John Jay. For those wondering, John Jay is a Division III criminal justice school in New York, a school this writer played against on many occasions during his college soccer days.

Kansas is a lot stronger of a program than their ranking would indicate. We think this game will be closer to a 30-to-40 point win. Take the points.

#7 BYU @ #3 UConn - Under 153.5 (-105)

๐Ÿ€ Odds via BetMGM๐Ÿ€

In the marquee matchup of the day, most of the focus will be on whether or not the #1 recruit in the country, AJ Dybantsa, will live up to the billing in his first true test. So far, he has produced 18.7 points and 7 rebounds per game in wins over Villanova, Holy Cross, and Delaware.

This ain't Delaware. The UConn Huskies are looking for their third national championship in the last four years. The Huskies have one of the slowest paces in all of college basketball, which should keep this game low-scoring.

Player Props

AJ Dybantsa Under 20.5 Points (-125)

๐Ÿ€ Odds via BetMGM๐Ÿ€

For Dybantsa, UConn represents his first major test of his career. It's not like he doesn't have experience against all-time greats, however. He's worked out with role model Kevin Durant on multiple occasions and has done his best to emulate him, shooting 57% from the floor in the early season.

Against UConn's slow pace, he may have a less-than-ideal night. But you never know, he's a very, very, very special scorer.

Jamarques Lawrence Under 10.5 Points (-125)

๐Ÿ€ Odds via BetMGM๐Ÿ€

Lawrence is back in Nebraska but has barely been involved over the last two games. In fact, against FIU and UMES, he took just six shots and scored three points (combined).

Lawrence and the rest of the starters should play a lot more minutes tonight, though I can't see him getting above his career average against Oklahoma.

Mikel Brown Jr. Under 5.5 Assists (-155)

๐Ÿ€ Odds via BetMGM๐Ÿ€

We don't think Louisville's offense is going to score as much as it did over the first three games of the season. Naturally, we have Brown's assist numbers going down.

Mind you, this game could be over at halftime, so Brown's minutes may also be limited. Take the under.
