Anytime touchdown, or ATTD, remains one of the popular bets out there. Each week at TheLines, we’ll provide some options for NFL anytime touchdown bets. Read on for ATTD bets within NFL Week 3 odds, featuring 49ers TE George Kittle. Note that these articles will focus on the main Sunday slates, as we’ll have separate posts covering anytime touchdown picks for Thursday Night Football odds, Sunday Night Football odds, and Monday Night Football odds.

The list below will by no means be exhaustive. We’ll highlight three intriguing options, but we encourage you to do your own digging on players who interest you. When shopping for the best ATTD odds, use our prop betting tool to find the best prices for any player.

NFL Week 3 Anytime Touchdown Picks

49ers at Rams: TE George Kittle George Kittle +240 on Consensus

The 49ers began the year looking like they’d run it back with the juggernaut offense featuring their “big four” playmakers. Two weeks in, they’re already down to half of that group. Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffery are out, leaving George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk.

Naturally, one would expect the TD markets to adjust and price these players shorter. That appears to have happened with Aiyuk but not Kittle, for reasons unknown.

Last year, Kittle was the third-most targeted 49ers in the red zone. The only two players ahead of him are now out. He spiked last week and could do so again this week in a game against a team that has already appeared to hit its injury downside.

Sure, many of the blows came on offense. But the Rams also traded their best coverage linebacker before the season and just lost a starting safety (John Johnson III) to IR. Kittle should have some space here, so unless the 49ers can simply run the ball all game as they did in Week 1, he looks like a decent bet at a number that hasn’t moved relative to prior weeks.

Panthers at Raiders: TE Brock Bowers Brock Bowers +230 on FanDuel

Through two games, the Raiders have not been able to run the ball at all. They rank 32nd in ESPN’s run block win rate, PFF grades the unit 31st, and their 2.5 YPA rushing is dead last by a mile.

Sure, the Panthers don’t present the same difficulties as the Ravens and Chargers, but it sure looks like this team is going to have to lean into its passing game to produce points. Given the performance that Davante Adams and Brock Bowers put on down the stretch against the Ravens, that might prove fruitful.

Bowers was a red zone monster in college with 31 TDs at Georgia. Yet, he has significantly longer odds than Adams to score on Sunday. He looks to have already built trust with Gardner Minshew, as he was a go-to target during the team’s fourth-quarter comeback in Baltimore.

This might be the last chance to grab Bowers at odds around +300 to find pay dirt.

Chargers at Steelers: WR George Pickens George Pickens +4500 on FanDuel

Picking a touchdown scorer in this game is enough to make anyone wince, but I’m going to try anyway.

George Pickens has had two of the roughest assignments in the NFL to kick off 2024. First, he faced A.J. Terrell and the Falcons’ stellar duo of safeties. Still, he managed a more than respectable 85 yards. Then, he got Patrick Surtain II. That went less well as Pickens tallied 29 yards.

Still, the fact of the matter is that the Steelers weren’t under any pressure to score in that game. Once they reached double-digits, it was on Denver to show they could do the same, or Mike Tomlin was going to sit on the ball. And that’s what he did when Denver failed to put on any pressure.

Things should get a little easier for him against an unexciting Chargers secondary, and the Steelers will probably be looking to score a few more points.

Pickens’ 11 targets are the most on the team easily, despite the difficult context of his start. Justin Fields is also worthy of consideration here, but I’ll go with Pickens to ease fantasy owners’ minds after he was a fairly hot commodity in draft season.

What Are NFL Anytime Touchdown Picks?

If you are new to these wagers, they’re bets on a player to score a touchdown. Keep in mind that quarterbacks must run (or receive) for a touchdown to cash the prop — passing touchdowns do not apply to ATTD odds at NFL betting sites.

Thus, these are primarily the domain of offensive skill players, although you’ll find long odds for defensive and special teams players to score as well. Some NFL betting apps may lump “special teams/defense” into one bet.
