Anytime touchdown, or ATTD, remains one of the popular bets out there. Each week at TheLines, we’ll provide some options for NFL anytime touchdown bets. Read on for ATTD bets within NFL Week 2 odds, featuring Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase. Note that these articles will focus on the main Sunday slates, as we’ll have separate posts covering anytime touchdown picks for Thursday Night Football odds, Sunday Night Football odds, and Monday Night Football odds.

The list below will by no means be exhaustive. We’ll highlight three intriguing options, but we encourage you to do your own digging on players who interest you. When shopping for the best ATTD odds, use our prop betting tool to find the best prices for any player.

NFL Week 2 Anytime Touchdown Picks

Bengals at Chiefs: WR Ja’Marr Chase

Chase and the Bengals offense had a quiet Week 1, but they have shown in the past that they can bounce back from these sorts of performances.

With Tee Higgins likely out again, bettors should see a heavy target funnel to Chase here in Week 2. That wasn’t really the case in the opener, but not a lot went right for the offense. I’m guessing they’ll make a more concentrated effort to get their top playmaker the rock.

While the Chiefs had an overall decent day defensively, the coverage unit was very leaky at times, particularly on obvious passing downs. With the Bengals likely playing from behind here — it’s hard to see how they can stop a K.C. offense that looks elite again — Chase should have some chances, perhaps even to break a big one deep.

My biggest concern is that Joe Burrow’s hand injury has left him a shell of the player he once was. Time will tell whether he continues to heal and look better. I like the odds on Chase at decent plus money so long as Burrow can bounce back.

Commanders at Giants: QB Jayden Daniels

Daniels did a lot of running for his life in Week 1 against Tampa Bay, which doesn’t even have a particularly good defense.

Unfortunately for Daniels, I think that’s going to be a common theme playing behind this low-budget offensive line. He rushed it an amazing 16 times on Sunday. He seems a little hesitant to pull the trigger in the passing game, resulting in poor short-term outlooks for players like Terry McLaurin. The fact that Austin Ekeler and Brian Robinson Jr. both tied for the team lead with four targets says a lot.

New York has its issues in the back end, but it does bring a fairly fierce pass rush to the table. Daniels will likely find himself scrambling frequently again this week. He should have some chances to find the end zone.

Some NFL betting sites have his TD number closer to even money, so I’d pounce on the early numbers in the neighborhood of +150.

Chargers at Panthers: WR Xavier Legette

Pinch your nose for this one.

The Carolina offense looked about as bad as possible in Week 1. But I promise that in a league completely slanted to favor the offenses, they will score some points eventually. At home against a Chargers team they have a chance to ambush at an early start time after long travel could actually be the week.

Legette is being priced below Adam Thielen and Diontae Johnson, but he led the team in targets on Sunday. He did have an ugly drop, so that likely won’t help the trust factor with wayward QB Bryce Young. But he does have the power to win in the red zone and the YAC ability to turn a short gain into a long one.

L.A.’s defense doesn’t look great on paper, and when the Raiders protected their passer, men were getting open. Too often, though, they failed to do so, or Gardner Minshew missed open throws. I can’t promise Young won’t do the same, but this Panthers offensive line has enough talent to stand up to the Chargers rush.

Legette might be in play at long odds.

What Are NFL Anytime Touchdown Picks?

If you are new to these wagers, they’re bets on a player to score a touchdown. Keep in mind that quarterbacks must run (or receive) for a touchdown to cash the prop — passing touchdowns do not apply to ATTD odds at NFL betting sites.

Thus, these are primarily the domain of offensive skill players, although you’ll find long odds for defensive and special teams players to score as well. Some NFL betting apps may lump “special teams/defense” into one bet.
