NFL Week 8 Anytime Touchdown Picks
Falcons at Buccaneers: RB Bijan Robinson Over 0.5 (-125) on Caesars
Early in the season, it was the Bijan Robinson show for Atlanta, but a few weeks in, Tyler Allgeier began to get much, much more involved.
That changed last week, as it now looks like the team will commit to a heavy dose of Robinson. He received 26 opportunities (carries plus targets) to just six for his understudy. Robinson has been on fire as well, with a trio of scores in the past two weeks.
The Buccaneers defense is a mess, with the secondary completely ravaged by injury. They’re missing multiple starting corners, so the field should open up for the Falcons.
Atlanta should be able to move the ball. The only question for Robinson will be if someone scores from long distance before he gets the ball in closer. Given that Kirk Cousins has struggled to get the ball down the field in recent weeks, Robinson looks like a good bet to score, as long as you don’t lay too much juice.
I wouldn’t go much higher than the current BetMGM price of -115.
Cardinals at Dolphins: WR Tyreek Hill Over 0.5 (+115) on DraftKings
The Dolphins offense has been absolute shambles without Tua Tagovailoa, but the market seems to be pricing in a Tagovailoa return this week. It’s certainly hard to imagine the Dolphins being favored by more than a field goal without their starting QB.
Hill has pretty much been a ghost since Tagovailoa went down, with only a single game exceeding 40 yards receiving.
Now, he gets to face a Cardinals defense that’s been a sieve once again. Arizona ranks 26th in defense DVOA and 29th in EPA/play allowed. Don’t let last week’s 17-15 final score fool you. A mediocre Chargers offense absolutely shredded them through the air, gaining 8 YPA despite several drops.
Hill had some incredibly poor reps that went viral this past weekend. Miami’s frustrating slide on offense seems to be wearing on him. Subjectively, that makes me think they’re a little more likely than usual to get him involved here. At plus odds, he’s a solid bet.

Saints at Chargers: RB J.K. Dobbins Over 0.5 (-149) on Caesars
Speaking of checked out, perhaps no team looks more done with the 2024 NFL season than the New Orleans Saints. They got absolutely trucked on Thursday by a Denver offense that has struggled to move the ball basically all year. I’d say they might be due to bounce back, but I thought that last week, and they no-showed again.
The unit is also dealing with a slew of injuries, so perhaps this is just what they are now.
Now, they’ll be dealing with a Chargers team that is extremely committed to the run. And when they do run, they’re quite committed to giving the rock to J.K. Dobbins, who has handled more than half of the red-zone carries for the team. And second place on that list, Gus Edwards, is on IR.
If teams like Denver and Tampa Bay can run the ball at will — they both exceeded 200 yards on the ground — then the Chargers will almost assuredly find success as well. Dobbins seems like a great bet to score, but he isn’t being priced quite to the level of the top RBs. I think he probably should be.
What Are NFL Anytime Touchdown Picks?
If you are new to these wagers, they’re bets on a player to score a touchdown. Keep in mind that quarterbacks must run (or receive) for a touchdown to cash the prop — passing touchdowns do not apply to ATTD odds at NFL betting sites.
Thus, these are primarily the domain of offensive skill players, although you’ll find long odds for defensive and special teams players to score as well. Some NFL betting apps may lump “special teams/defense” into one bet.
