NFL Week 15 Anytime Touchdown Picks

Bills at Lions: QB Josh Allen Over +120 on Bet365

Coming off a game in which he showcased just how capable he is of racking up touchdowns, it’s unclear why Allen is still plus-money to score in a game with the highest total of the season.

This season, Allen has scored 10 times in 13 games. The team has leaned into his ability to run more than ever lately, as he’s spiked in four straight.

The passing game should thrive here against Detroit’s highly questionable secondary. But the Lions also bring heat more than almost anyone, ranking eighth in pressure rate and third in blitz rate. If Allen gets flushed in the red zone, look out, and the Lions certainly look likely to chase him out of the pocket at least a few times.

Essentially, Allen is rushing the ball like Jalen Hurts, but he isn’t coming close to being priced that way. Until that changes, I like him at these plus numbers, especially in what promises to be a shootout.

Cowboys at Panthers: WR Adam Thielen Over +210 on Bet365

While Bryce Young is building a rapport with some of the younger pass catchers on his timeline, he made one thing clear last week against the Eagles. He trusts Adam Thielen above all others, and rightfully so, given Xavier Legette’s problems hanging onto the ball.

The veteran garnered a massive 11 targets and turned them into 102 yards. Particularly on high-leverage downs, Young looked that way every time.

Given Dallas’ struggles stopping the run, any Panthers touchdowns are pretty likely to come from Chuba Hubbard. However, the market is pricing that to an extreme degree.

Young could also have plenty of success through the air. He’s been a top-half-of-the-league QB for the past month or so.

And Ja’Marr Chase just showed what a WR1 can do against Dallas with 177 yards and a pair of scores. Sure, Thielen isn’t on that level. But at this price, he doesn’t have to be.

Buccaneers at Chargers: WR Ladd McConkey Over +150 on DraftKings

The last time we saw McConkey was in Week 13. All he did was account for a full 79.6% of the Chargers’ passing yards (117 of 147).

He missed last week’s game against the Chiefs but appears to be trending toward a return after logging a limited practice on Wednesday.

Assuming he does return, McConkey should find himself in a dream situation. Buccaneers corners have been victimized all year, with only two teams allowing more passing yards per game. The team that entered last week was ranked in the bottom three in both pass defense EPA/play and success rate.

With the rushing game no longer providing the oomph it did with J.K. Dobbins, the Chargers seem a little more likely to pass for their touchdowns. And if that happens, McConkey is the most probable suspect to spike.

What Are NFL Anytime Touchdown Odds?

If you are new to these wagers, they bet on a player to score a touchdown. Remember that quarterbacks must run (or receive) for a touchdown to cash the prop — passing touchdowns do not apply to ATTD odds at NFL betting sites.

Thus, these are primarily the domain of offensive skill players, although you’ll find long odds for defensive and special teams players to score. Some NFL betting apps may lump “special teams/defense” into one bet.
