NFL Conference Championship Anytime Touchdown Picks

Commanders at Eagles: RB Brian Robinson Jr. Over +195 on DraftKings

The Eagles have excellent defensive numbers against opposing passing attacks and only slightly weaker numbers against the run. Still, they can sometimes be beaten on the ground because they prefer to play lightboxes.

That was on display last weekend against the Rams. Kyren Williams, not known for big plays, averaged 5.6 YPA rushing, including a 30-yarder.

Brian Robinson Jr. had a tremendous first half of the season but tailed off in the second half. He re-emerged with a 15-77-2 line against the Lions, though.

Vic Fangio is going to do Vic Fangio things again here. He’ll sit back in his zones and dare the Commanders to beat him with running and short passes. That should open the door for Robinson to spike once again.

Bills at Chiefs: WR Khalil Shakir Over +250 on BetMGM

As usual, James Cook and Josh Allen hog the touchdown equity on the Bills’ side.

However, the Chiefs have been strong against the run for most of the season, ranking ninth in DVOA and 10th in EPA/play allowed.

The last time these teams played, the Bills dropped 30 on K.C., but it wasn’t because of the run. They gained just 104 yards on 31 attempts, with Cook in particular botted up (9-20-2). Even Allen was well below his usual level (12-55-1).

Against Houston, the Chiefs appeared vulnerable in the middle of the field. Outside CBs Trent McDuffie and the returning Jaylen Watson did good work, but C.J. Stroud repeatedly found free receivers between the hashes.

That weakness was also on display in the first meeting between these teams. Unsurprisingly, Shakir was the player who benefited most. He does his best work over the middle. He led the team by far in targets with 12 and turned that into eight catches for 70 yards, both team-highs.

Don’t be surprised if Shakir gets loose again for a quick-hitting score over the middle of the field.

What Are NFL Anytime Touchdown Odds?

If you are new to these wagers, you are betting on a player to score a touchdown. Remember that quarterbacks must run (or receive) for a touchdown to cash the prop — passing touchdowns do not apply to ATTD odds at NFL betting sites.

Thus, these are primarily the domain of offensive skill players, although you’ll find long odds for defensive and special teams players to score. Some NFL betting apps may lump “special teams/defense” into one bet.
