Sunday Night Football on NFL Wild Card Weekend sees another division rematch, with the Baltimore Ravens heading into Cincinnati to play the Bengals. A Week 18 rematch, the Bengals are looking to get into the second round, while Baltimore is trying to figure out if they can make a run at the Bengals with starting quarterback Lamar Jackson (knee) inactive for this game. In this post, we’ll study the matchups and share some potential Bengals vs. Ravens props.

Prop Strategy

The Ravens are the second-biggest underdogs on the board this weekend. It’s likely that the Bengals will be in a positive game script for the second half; whereas, the Ravens will need to throw a lot to counteract a likely second-half deficit.

The Ravens are third in yards/rush attempt and 26th in yards/pass attempt, while the Bengals are 29th in yards/rush and ninth in yards/pass.

Prop Matchups

Joe Burrow Rushing Yards

Best Available Odds: Over/Under /

Joe Burrow’s number might look low, but in a game where Burrow does not likely need to rush, he’s not likely to do it. Joe has only rushed for 11 or more yards six times this year, and in five of those six scenarios, it was a one score game at the end. Burrow is a reluctant runner, but he will do it when his team needs him to. Given the Bengals are over a touchdown favorite, it’s fairly unlikely they’ll need him to.

Joe Mixon Receiving Yards

Best Available Odds: Over/Under /

Joe Mixon has gotten 30+ yards receiving in seven of the last eight games. With the likelihood that Mixon will get an increase in usage in this game – at least in the competitive parts of it – Mixon should be able to continue on this number.

JK Dobbins Rushing Yards

Best Available Odds: Over/Under /

In the four games since Dobbins has returned from injury, Dobbins has gone over this number 3 times, and he has gotten at least 50 yards in all four. Dobbins has averaged 99 yards in his four games back, a number quite above his number this week. Coming off a week off and hopefully fresh, Dobbins will be key to the Ravens trying to stay in this game.

Justin Tucker Field Goals Made

Best Available Odds: Over/Under /

With the Ravens offense in a state of flux, points are going to be at a premium for the Ravens. Tucker averaged just over two FGs a game, and in the post-Lamar injury period, he’s averaging 2.2 per game. With that being the case, if the Ravens are going to score, a lot of their offense is likely to come off the leg of Tucker.

Best of luck betting Bengals vs. Ravens props.
