Premier League: Liverpool vs Chelsea (Wednesday, July 22)

Liverpool (-102) sits atop the current Premier League standings and faces an enormous challenge when they face third-place Chelsea (+241) in one of the best Premier League matchups of the year. The game means more to Chelsea than just an upset – they currently sit just one point ahead of fourth-place Leicester City and fifth-place Manchester United. Liverpool was able to take the last meeting in September, and Chelsea is coming off a loss to Arsenal last week.

MLB season start (Thursday, July 23)

The first of the big four leagues finally kicks off after what feels like an eternity. Opening Day has the Yankees (-140) visiting the defending champion Nationals (+120) and features stud pitchers Gerrit Cole and Max Scherzer. The other half of Thursday’s kickoff is San Francisco (+245) paying a visit to Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers (-305). Friday also features a slew of matchups, including the Brewers (+110) at the Cubs (-130) and the Twins (+100) at the White Sox (-120). Opening Day has added intrigue with the aftermath of the Astros’ cheating scandal as well as the pressure of a 60-game season. The race is on, and we’re ready for the most interesting Opening Day in MLB history.

NASCAR at Kansas Speedway (Thursday, July 23)

With just one month until the playoffs, suddenly-nationally-relevant NASCAR has a brighter spotlight. What makes this race interesting is that it is featured in the Round of 8 stage of the playoffs come October. Kevin Harvick is looking to continue his tear (4 wins, 11 top-5’s, first place) while fending off Ryan Blaney and Brad Keslowski. It’s the last weekday race of the season, making it more than worth while to tune in.

UFC Fight Island 3: Till vs Whittaker (Saturday, July 25)

UFC’s next major event returns to Fight Island, Dana White’s concept to keep UFC alive amid a global pandemic. No. 1 ranked Robert Whittaker (-110) was knocked out back in October while defending his middleweight title and is seeking redemption on Saturday. Darren Till (-110) ranks fifth in the class, and is coming off a split decision back in November. The numbers are right– this one’s a toss up. No matter what happens, it’ll be exciting. Fight Island 3 also features six other fights, including an even bout between Paul Craig (-110) and Gadzhimurad Antigulov (-110).

PGA 3M Open (Thursday, July 23–Sunday, July 26)

Dustin Johnson (+900) and Brooks Koepka (+1200) lead the field in odds for the 3M Open in Minnesota. Jon Rahm took home the W at the Memorial Tournament last weekend. Despite the draw for the MLB’s opening weekend, the 3M Open shouldn’t be glossed over; the field also includes Paul Casey (+2500), Tommy Fleetwood (+1600), and Bubba Watson (+3300).
