Duke Vs. Arizona Sweet 16 Odds, Picks, Predictions: Cooper Flagg Props & Best Bets

On Thursday’s March Madness odds board, top-seeded Duke takes on fourth-seeded Arizona in the East Region. The Blue Devils opened as 8.5-point favorites for the right to face the winner of Alabama vs. BYU, and the market has bumped them to -9.5. Another fun way to bet on this matchup is Cooper Flagg props, including points, rebounds, and assists. Below are my predictions of how the five-star freshman will fare against the Wildcats.

Cooper Flagg Props: Over 20.5 Points?

Oddly enough, Flagg has averaged only 15.5 points per game in Duke’s two NCAA tournament matchups. Nevertheless, both were blowouts, tallying just 25.5 minutes per contest.

Flagg, favored to win the 2025 March Madness Most Outstanding Player award at DraftKings Sportsbook, easily eclipsed his points prop in their first meeting on Nov. 22. He finished with 24 points (8-of-17 shooting), seven rebounds, and three assists, attacking the paint at will in the Blue Devils’ wire-to-wire victory.

Granted, he finished 4-of-9 (44.4%) shooting at the basket, a byproduct of Arizona’s elite rim-denial defense. Given that he’s a three-level scorer, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him take (and make) a few more triples in this rematch.

These teams combined for 124 points in the season’s early stages, yet the market expects a higher-scoring affair, correlating with the likelihood of Flagg delivering a standout performance.

Still, I believe the most value lies within Flagg’s three-point prop. As of this publication, he’s priced at +120 to hit two or more triples at Caesars Sportsbook.
