2026 Pro Bowl Game: Predictions, & Best Bets
Today is the 2026 NFL Pro Bowl, and although the game has lost significant luster throughout the years, some of the NFL's best will compete in a very offense-heavy flag football game to entertain fans before the Super Bowl.
The NFC have won three straight games, running away with it last year in a 76-63 shootout. Jared Goff and Byron Murphy shared MVP honors.
This year, many players who would have otherwise played won't participate either because of injury, rest, or because they're in the Super Bowl. Participation is becoming an afterthought to many, when being a Pro Bowler was once a huge honor. The proof lies with the AFC quarterback pool, with both Shadeur Sanders and Joe Flacco at the games despite their stats being some of the worst in the conference.
2026 Pro Bowl Game Preview
The Pro Bowl isn't competitive, nor does the game matter whatsoever; these guys are out on the field having fun. In fact, many betting markets don't even allow for betting on the Pro Bowl due to its loose nature.
Many major outlets, as well as players, are calling for the Pro Bowl Games to be done with. The players don't want to risk injury nor do they want to put any effort into the game whatsoever. In addition, most of the best players in the league are choosing to opt out.
Nevertheless, the Sunday game and the Thursday skills competition have all been consolidated to a single Tuesday-night event. What was once a week-long Hawaiian showcase in full pads after the Super Bowl has now become a flag football exhibition that's part of the on-site Super Bowl experience.
Being named to the Pro Bowl was once a vital part of a player's legacy. Now, it's more of a nuisance, and nobody really wants to play anymore. The NFL attempted to monetize the game prior to the Super Bowl, and it failed. Record-low viewership is expected and it's possible that this is the last game of its kind.

Game Predictions
We're just going to go with the better offensive roster. The AFC are putting out seven offensive alternates in skill positions while the NFC are only putting out four. The starters are, essentially, the Cincinnati Bengals QB and WRs, and they finished 6-11 this season.
As for the score, don't bother thinking about defense. They put up a combined 119 points last season, and they should be going even higher this year, allowing everyone to score in the friendly competition. Look for defenses to give players like Joe Flacco free legacy touchdown passes. Slam the over.
Final Score: NFC 85 AFC 72
